Conversations That MatterThe returning series will welcome land-use advocates, agency representatives, elected officials, business owners, event organizers, industry professionals, club leaders, volunteers, and members of allied organizations. These conversations will give viewers a closer look at the work happening behind the scenes to protect access, improve recreation opportunities, support responsible land management, and preserve California’s off-road heritage. The program will also recognize CORVA’s business sponsors and coalition partners whose support helps strengthen advocacy throughout the state. By introducing viewers to the organizations and individuals standing with the off-road community, “Talking Offroad w/ McGarity” will help build stronger relationships and encourage greater cooperation. Promoting Responsible RecreationProtecting public access requires more than responding to closures and regulations. It also requires education, stewardship, volunteerism, and responsible use. Future episodes will highlight trail maintenance, cleanups, restoration projects, safety education, volunteer opportunities, and the importance of respecting public lands. The program will showcase the positive contributions off-road recreation makes to rural communities, local economies, public-land stewardship, and outdoor access. Building a Stronger CORVA“Talking Offroad w/ McGarity” will also create new opportunities for people to learn about CORVA, become members, volunteer, attend events, and participate in advocacy campaigns. For more than 55 years, CORVA has worked to protect responsible motorized recreation and preserve access to public lands. This returning program will help carry that mission forward by making information more accessible, strengthening public awareness, and bringing CORVA’s work directly to the people it represents. Approved episodes may be shared through CORVA’s official social-media accounts, website, YouTube channel, email communications, and other authorized platforms. Content created specifically for CORVA’s YouTube channel will serve as official CORVA organizational content and will follow CORVA’s branding, communications, and social-media policies. Stay Tuned—and Get InvolvedWhether you are a longtime CORVA member, a business sponsor, a club representative, a land-use advocate, or someone just beginning to explore California’s public lands, “Talking Offroad w/ McGarity” will offer valuable information and a direct connection to the issues affecting the off-road community. Watch CORVA’s website, YouTube channel, email communications, and social-media pages for upcoming episodes, featured guests, live broadcasts, and opportunities to participate. -Mike McGarity, President. “Talking Offroad with McGarity—President of CORVA” is returning with a clear purpose: to inform our community, amplify its voice, celebrate its accomplishments, and strengthen the fight to keep public lands open FOR the people—not FROM the people.
